Accidents or injuries, no matter how minor, should be reported to your foreman immediately. |

Appropriate clothing should be worn, including shirts and hard soled ankle high boots. Shorts, cut-offs, and athletic shoes are not allowed on the job. | |

Hard hats must be worn on all jobs designated as hard hat jobs, when working in area of overhead exposure or as directed by your foreman. | |

Eye protection must be worn when operating saws, working in dusty places, mixing mortar, chipping, grinding or during other operations where eye injuries may result. | |

Ear protection is required for all high noise level jobs. | |

Any approved dust respirator should be worn when using masonry saw or dry cutting materials. | |

Be Alert. Report all unsafe conditions and acts to your foreman for immediate attention. | |

Scaffolds should be checked regularly for guard, mid or end rails, and sound scaffold planks. | |

Do not use defective ladders. Ladders must be tied off and secured and extend three feet abouve landing. | |

Barricades or safety rails must be maintained around all slab openings, ramps to hoist and building edges. | |

Use only double insulated or properly grounded tools, equipments, and cords. Inspect equipment daily, and replace all damaged electrical tools or equipment. | |

Good housekeeping must be practiced on all jobs. Keep work areas and walkways clear. | |

No employee other than the operator should ride on trucks, loader, or material hoist unless authorized. | |
14 |
Lift correctly-bend your knees-lift with your legs. Obtain help when needed. |
